user friendly but not in commands

Today, I shell write without my talented assistant.

My last week in this semester, studying (cramming) and finishing up assignments. My girl-friend had an assignment to do in her Linux class. It was to get words that match a certain pattern from a file using the grep command, so I tried to help her. After an hour or so and with two other people we find the way to do it. The lesson: Linux might be getting user friendly but the commands aren't standardized which is annoying.
